Well, what do you have as of now?

I would suggest the HHX crashes, the vault crashes, the Sig crashes, and the AAX crashes.

Unless you're playing really small places, get some big thin cymbals like 19", 20" Vaults, 20" HHX, etc.

"im looking at everything besides zildjian basically"

I say go for some Paistes. Some nice Innovations, maybe some Rudes, if thats your type of thing

well, w/out the two crashes... my setup would be.

21" a custom sweet ride
14" new beat hihats
12" world prc china (probably going to buy a 16" wuhan while im @ gc)

ive heard good things about the vault crashes, and the paiste rudes

haha, the cymbal has to atleast be 18"

any specific models you guys think i should go in looking for... ill post some pics and stuff too if i get the cam working.

really? from who?

seriously if you go RUDE... get the Thin Crashes, they sound really nice. big (18" 19" 20") thin cymbals always sound nice tho :thumb:

^Haha, that sounds fitting

It's a shame your skipping on Zildjian, but Vaults are great Sabian crashes, so you might want to try those...but then again, they are about the Sabian equivalent to A Customs so maybe not :p I've also heard great things about the HHX line too :thumb:

Yeah, I agree with Half Life. Shame you're skipping out on Zildjian, As are where it's at. A Customs rock socks too, same goes for Ks.

^A Customs do rock socks off, but i don't like much Zildjian, just really A's A Customs and some of the FX stuff. but i would get a 17'' and 18'' crash, maybe like a 17'' sig crash and an 18'' AAXplosion/AAX stage crash

VTDS_xx

18" AAXplosion
17-19" Vault
17" AA Medium Thin
18" HHX Power Crash

Those are great candidates.

well, considering the label hosts avenged sevenfold, mustard plug, thrice, as well as a bunch of other "recognized" bands... the fitting comment is something one should keep to themselves.

-- i play punk with some metal influence.

i guess ill be looking at vaults/AAX/AA and paiste 2002/sig/and rudes.

any other suggestions, meinl maybe?

I LOVE Meinl's Byzance, but that might not be what your looking for. Meinl's Raker series sounds just right, though.

Good luck with the show. Awesome band your playing with. I'd say look into AAX Studio 16" if you like brighter tone.

dont let a bad line of cymbals throw u off..but be sure to watch out for the counterpart to that bad line in other cymbal companies (rudes/aa metal-x)
