Look up the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's version. It's sort of the cliche rock version that everyone knows...it's got some ridiculous title I can't remember...

*gag at transiberian* their bassist is only there because hes the brother of the lead guitarist who not only leads the guitar section but does all of the crowd pleasing in between songs.

My band used to play with this pop rock band that did a suprisingly good cover of it, which I ended up liking more than TSO's. Arrange your own version to give the bass a prevalent role.

Well I would except for the fact that I'm not there yet as a bassist, not good enough to be able to thorw that many things in or make my own little version.

Another thing, where can I find TSO's or any bands way of playing this? MX doesn't have any and I tried google but couldn't find any.
