Last Friday was my birthday.

I got a Russian Big Muff and an EBow. Pretty nifty. I'm trying to find a diagram for the muff. I'd like to mod it to have true bypass.

I also got 125 dollars to a music store. What should I put the money towards? My ideas are as follows...

I have no opinion on your actual question... But does the eBow work well with a bass guitar? It seems like a cool idea to me, but my mate said it takes a while to get a proper sound out of it.

Whats the ebow like?

On the EBow - It was a bit difficult to use at first. It just takes practice. Lots of practice compared to using it on guitar. The EBow seems to make a bit of distortion. I guess it's the lower frequencies.

For those who wondered, I have a MIM Fender Jazz Active Deluxe 5 string, Crybaby 105Q, Digitech Bass Driver and Bass Synth. My amps change depending on where I play.

Possibly. I need a little more practice to sound good.

Maybe I can work something out to record a week from now. Who knows...
