Yeah, they really are amazing...you have to read them in order or else you get totally screwed out of the experience. I don't care that I'm 17; I still absolutely love those books. It's great to just get lost in the novels. I almost cried when I read who dies in #6...seriously. I was so upset. :p

I love the slap tone I get out of my ibanez, and the tap tone. But when I get to playing fingerstyle, I cant physically make the screaching when I slide stop. Im not seeing my fingers touch the strings but Im still hearing it!!!

I have the same problem somedays but other days it is just fine. It may be down to an electricity supply problem or something of the sort, if so flatwounds won't help you much.

Thanks man... I think I'll take that thumpy stuff out and maybe make the tradeoff two fingerstyles, or tapping... although the drum rhythm doesn't leave much room for counterrhythm.
