View Full Version : Best cymbals + Price for a complete set
Say you would be the winner of a contest for a drum-magazine and your price is : A day of free shopping for cymbals.
You can pic as many different cymbals you want , but! you can't buy 2 of the same kind , ( like 2 crashes of 2 rides is forbidden) the only thing you have to do is make a list of their prices and mail it to the magazine so they could send you a cheque with the money.
Wich cymbals would you buy and how much would the total price be?
p.s. : I'm Bored but this sounded pretty fun to me.

\yes, it is Masterwork! I don't and will never play Zildjian or Paiste. Not sure about Sabian and Meinl, but for the next couple of years, turkish cymbals are the ones for me :)

Masterworks are probably one of the better cymbal lines on the market today CasB sabian are pretty much the same as Zildjian mass produced but the do have a few nice hand hammered cymbals now meinl are probably my favs at the moment. They have a very nice price tag, and are incredible cymbals. The Byzance are all hand hammered and have all sort of finishes, and they sound incredible!! Very versitile and almost as good as a bosphorus. Check out meinls site at www.meinl.de
