Just practice spider walking up the frets, like-
E-1-2-3-4-2-3-4-5-3-4-5-6....etcetera

Here's an excerise I was doing earlier Left Hand Exercise (http://www.cyberfretbass.com/misc-wisdom/weinkum/weinkum-pita-exercise/index.php)
This will work your whole left hand keep one finger per fret i.e. index will play 5, middle 6, ring 7, pinky 8

G--------------------0-4-5-
D-------------0-4-5-------
A-------0-4-5-------------
E-0-4-5-------------------
Do that with your pinky and the finger next to it.

I dunno if your into them, but, dance dance by fall out boy gives my pinky a good excercise if you want to play a song rather than a boring little fiddling around like 123412314123124124123123124

i saw a john myung video where to strengthen your left hand you just keep hammering on and pulling off for about a minute at a time which would help to strengthen your pinky a lot

practice your scales excessively. Not only will you gain strength in your pinky, you will also gain finger independence, a better ear, and some sort of theory knowledge as well. You should also check out this book called "bass workout" or something like that. A bunch of finger strengthing exercises that help with your finger independence, stamina, strength, and with your string skipping abilities.
Just hold notes using your pinky, that helps along with all these brilliant ideas above.

what i used to do would just sit there and do hammer-ons...like this:
|---6h7-6h7-6h7-6h7---|
repeat that on all of the strings...
