Alright so heres the deal, I got a blank p-bass body (well, blank once i sand it) and a fretless P-bass neck (that i defretted myself..theres dings to prove it.) I'm trying to think of a really cool paintjob, but I dont know what to do . Throw me some ideas. Oh yeah, its gunna have a matching headstock.

What kind of music do you play? If it's pop-punk or punk, why not have a big smiley face or something equally lame?

I play everything. The last 3 songs i listened to were:
Rufio - still
Bob marley - no woman no cry
Metallica - And justice for all.
...and hey, whats a good side with replacement tuners/bridges/ ect, cuz i dont have any of that stuff. just the body and neck..see it was my bass, then i sold it to my cuz, and he likes to take things apart and not do anything with them, so all my parts are scattered...

Ive always thought that a Pbass might look good with a burst other than sunburst pattern. I dunno, maybe a blue or red burst? ooh or you could do a white burst, it would be tricky, but you could fade from a white fog around the edges to a almost translucent finish twords the center. Yeah that might look neat.

gotoh make good replacement tuners. But as far as a paint job goes, maybe some cool car colour that you don't see on guitars at all like some kind of metallic orange or something.
