I started out with a five piece, then I got the same kit for a killer deal and I set up a double kick with 4 rack toms and two floor toms and my snare, but I prefer this much more than the previous two. Oh by the way I gave the other kit to my nephew so no money was wasted for the nay sayers.

Sweet kit man. Great pedals too.

Any chance you have pics of that old double bass setup? I'd love to see that.

I lvoe just about everything on that set up, great pedals, cymbals and Drum postioning. If there was one change I could make though it would be to get a second floor tom. but its your choice lol ,but ya that is still an amazing set up, Good Job :thumb:

Yeah,
4 piece kits rock.
I just recently set up my 6 piece after about 3 months of playing 4.

I set up my 5 piece like that (i.e. I removed the second tom). Then I put the second tom on my left hand side.

Incidentally, if it were me, I'd have the mounted tom a lot further right. I'd like it closer to the floor tom, and apart from anything else, I like my hats as close to in front of the snare as I can get with a stand, but that's just me. Maybe one day I'll get an x-hat setup and actually have the hats in front of my snare.

^^^ Yes I did, I decided to brake it down due to our band doing so many shows. Its easier to haul the kit around when its smaller.

Nice stuff. I really love all of your setups. My type of guy =D I love four pieces just as much if not more than I love big sets. They just are so comfy! Gotta love 'em.
