EDIT : Are you guys being nice or do you really think its a good kit lol i thought it sucked !

Der Meister

It was good for the price, though mine had a few serious flaws; there was a knot in the wood on the bearing edges and so it wasnt a straight edge, there was glue on the inside ply and my snare tuning rods threaded pretty quick. But that was just my kit, i doubt they have that many problems on many others. Just probably have poor quality control.

The snare sounded pretty sweet with an amb on it.

i have one of those up im my loft...
i occasionally still use the floor tom and snare, and very occasionally the 10" tom

Drummer 101...Only kit that sucks IMO....Is the one you don't have! Folks can play what they can afford. I think its pretty dumb to make fun of someones kit...just cause it may not be expensive/or an "off brand". I can say...since I've been on this drum forum...Ego's run rampant and insecruity rules. IMO there is absolutly nothing wrong with your kit. I bet with those pins on there....it sounds great!. BTW- I use pinstripes myself.
I can see why music has turned out the way it has these days...if this site is any example. SAD SAD SAD.
keep on playin man...and ignore the ignorant.

I'm not enforcing rules...I'm just pointing out the obvious. Not like I havnt been on any other foums before. I've just noticed that a lot of "drummers" will criticize instead of help. I do subscribe too other Drum chat rooms...and well..This ones the 'cats meow' for sure. Again...making observations. This chat reminds me a lot of car audio chat rooms that I've been in. so...take it for what it is.

Tama tom you def. have the right idea. There is so many ignorant 14/15 year olds on here that think they know every little aspect of the percussion world.
"I can see why music has turned out the way it has these days...if this site is any example. SAD SAD SAD." The worst thing about it .. is that somone will post a vid and most of these idiots are like oh you suk or that was midley barable. These forums are for people to gain positive infomation to improve their ability to play. Constructive Criticism !! It is pathetic that these kids are getin their rocks off on making people feel like ****

Pdouble...thank you. Thats all I'm pointing out. If drummers cant stick together...what's next. There is nothing wrong with critisism...as long as it constructive. yes...I'm the new guy on here...But I am no where new to music or Drumming. For those who know what they are doing - should be helping out those- instead of mocking them. Hell- when I was 14 and starting out on drums...there was no INTERNET like this to go and ask question....24yrs was a long time ago

TAMA_Tom

what the hell are you talking about, noone has critised his kit at all. I hardly see any hurtful comments made on here about peoples kits/abilities. I don't care how long you have been drumming it doesn't change the fact that you are new and so you don't know how things run round here.

aww HC! :)

i only flame those who try and suggest them. i got tired of flaming those who already had em i guess. though i thought he bought it in a pack, but he has an amb on the snare so im guessing he actually paid for the pins separately. what a waste :/

Every single time i've seen someone post audio or video on here, there has never been anyone saying anything like that...all i've heard from these guys and girls in the MX D&P section, are tips to help improve playing, technique and style, i've never heard "You suck, quit life" unless someone had a horrible atittude or it was sarcasm...so i think you should research before you post...

and to TAMA_tom...i have also never heard many people insult pics of kits on here unless they were complete a*sholes which they usually arent...so...you as well, research before you post...maybe you and PdoubleE could take a trip to the library together...:thumb:
