Finally completed my Mapex M with all the cymbals I want.

Specs

Mapex 'M' (old edition) 12", 13", 16" Toms, 14" Snare.

A Customs
12" A Custom Mastersounds
16" A Custom Crash
19" A Custom Crash

K Customs
17" K Custom Fast Crash
20" K Custom Session Ride

Snare at the bottom is a Mapex Pro Brass 13 x 3.5 Piccollo (sp?), but it's broken just now. Been waiting for a new strainer for 5 months. I use it as my main.

I haven't found the right china yet, and I'm considering never getting one. I may get a splash in time.
I'm saving up for a gap year, so no new drum stuff for ages.

Pics should be sorted now.

Have you tried the wuhan chinas? Or the K Chinas? Or the Paiste chinas?

Detest wuhans. Never tried a K or Paiste. I'm gonna try a K Custom 19" Dark or an 18" Paiste Sig when I can.

dude if you can find em witch you probably cant meinl profiles (aka double dragons) even the hats sound like the trashyist mose downright evil cymbals you can through a stick at

Drumset looks awesome man, how does that K Custom Session Ride sound? Never had the chance to bang on one yet.

It is awesome. My favourtie ride by a long way. It's a little more pingy than it is washy. It has different sounds all around the cymbal, ie, at the very edge of the bow it's really deep and dark, while at the bell it's really soft and bright.
Bell has a nice ping. Crash is a bit gongy, but still sounds superb.

I recommend it to anyone :thumb:
