But zildjian are so popular ! It would be cool to have zildjians because the othr bands use sabian. i like to be different. Why be normal?

Im looking for cymbals that have quite a long sustain. Everyone says Wuhan are good but they look crappy and cheap.

"Go grab urself some PST5's you'll be glad you did."

Smart man.

Entry level Zildjian suck. Period. PST5s are Paiste 2002s except made with a less expensive process. Same metal. Those PST5s are great cymbals.
Either go with PST5 or Sabian B8s.

Those Wuhans are nice, too though.

Paiste PST 5 or Sabian B8's... don't go entry level Zildjian, they sound horrible. The only decent sounding ZBT would be the hi hats.

Either go with PST5 or Sabian B8s. I hate em b8's, they're okay after you "break" em in but other than that they're terrible, but still better then them nasty ZBT/ ZXT and stay the hell away from those ZXT Titainums, Solars and PLANET Z!

True. Did not know that. Very surprised.

I hear ZBTs are horrible and i've heard a 16" crash and it wasn't to pleasant sounding.I don't hear very much bad talk about the Wuhan cymbals but i have never heard them.

Are you ****ing serious?? You're honestly more concerned with how your cymbals look then how they sound?

Noo, try like a ProSonix pack or like an AA pack from Sabian.

Get whichever ones that you think sound best.

Does it really matter if they're the same as everyone else's?
Did it ever occur to you that everyone else uses the same things, because they just sound the best?

You get what you pay for with cymbals, you'd probably be better off saving up for some more expensive ones, like the Zildjian A/Ks, Sabian AA/HH series if you can.

DEFINETlY go b8 or pst5. Entry level cymbals by zildjian suck. Trust Sabian until when in zildjian it costs 150 for a cymbal.

I think i'll save up for som titaniums lol. I used to use them in my drum lessons and they sounded really cool. The also look good, I do want something that sounds good but I like nice looking cymbals as well.

Here's a novel idea...

1. You want cymbals that LOOK cool?
2. You want cymbals that sound GOOD?

Zildjian A Custom Pack (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=home/search/detail/base_pid/443177/)
Zildjian A Series Pack (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=perc/search/detail/base_pid/443176/)

^Either of those two are going to be what you want from Zildjian in a pack...trust me. Both even come with extra crashes so what's not to like? :thumb:

Titatiums are some of the few cymbals that do look bad.
And i'm not even going to start on the sound.

If thats your reasoning, then buy some Bosphorus. Seeing as how the big 3 are used a lot more.
