Normally I would just check out harmony-central but it seems that everything gets a good review from harmony-central and I am unable to get to a samash

I own a Peavey Custom Shop Cirrus and a Cirrus BXP. The necks on these are a bit chunkier than I typically like (more of a jazz neck guy myself) but they play nice, and have good upper register access.... not sure what else you want to know.

The grinds actually have very thin necks... much thinner than most basses I've played. I played a geddy today,a dn teh peavey easily felt thinner.

I've played the Peavey Grind, it's a very nice bass to say the least. I got a nice fat tone by just fiddling with the knobs, and it was only plugged into a 15 watt amp. The neck is very thin also, but it's quite a heavy bass to me.

Heavey? It's far from heavy. I believe the weight of the bass itself is... 8 and a half pounds?
And the grind is a nice bass, but don't order it offline, because about 1 out of 10 are lemons. It's also got a bit of a fragile finish.

I also have a custom shop Cirrus, neck-through. To me, the neck actually feels pretty thin, effortless access to the higher frets. However, I have large hands, and I played a P-Bass for a fairly long time before I bought the Peavey.
