Doublethumb Comp

I've never seen this done before, but it seems like it could work out great.

This will be a comp with pieces that are DTed, although not entirely. There can be some small finger/tapping parts, but the piece must be mainly doublethumbed. Effects may also be used, but I'd prefer if they were kept to a minimum.

Edit: Open-hammer-plucking to be used in moderation, please. The song must still be mostly DT

One track of bass, one track of drums (if you want)

The songs will be due on Saturday, December 3. That should be plenty of time, considering we have this weekend.

I don't think OHP should be included ... it's much different than DT.

well its not the way that wooten does it if thats what you mean, i use several variations of my own creation. for example open, hammer, double pop the octive (sometimes triple popping) or open, hammer, pull off hammer.

I do that often too. Another one to try is down on open-ahmmer-up, double/triple pop the octave.


Anyways, that is still considered Open Hammer Pluck. And it's been done many times.
