View Full Version : New Recording Whore Time, Okay?
That's right bitches, new recording...
Actually, I've put up quite a few new recordings in the past few days. Check them out, tell me what you think, etc.
"Slap Melody"
"Emeritus of the Wicked"
"Cynic's Frost"
The three I uploaded today. They still need the kinks worked out, Audacity was lagging alot today. I had to level manually, so-bear with it.

the slap seemed rather uninteresting, to be honest, the other were good for a laid backish type of mood. but the slap never seemed to really go any where if you know what i mean? on a side note the recording quality is great and the tone is awesome

entropical cancer has some nice delay. sounds like something i could use. what kind of delay pedal do you use?
I use an analog delay pedal of my own design. That and a boomerang, a digidelay, and a line 6 delay.
I have more delay pedals, but those are the ones I use most often.

sade...remember that song you had with the slapped line then you played the octave
that was amazing

^That is basically what I'm doing in the slap melody tune. The beginning of the "fast" part is two slap bass lines, octaved; played in time.

liked the slap melody, thought it fitted awesomely with the techno-esque backing. the other two i was just amazed you didn't come after that long.

I know you said you had to level manually but goddamn those drums do my head in, its probably just because they arn't real but are you sure they actually add anything to the song?
The bass in it is great though, much respect.
^Thanks a bunch, my friend.
No, I'm a n00b to fruity loops. I, also, thought the drums were crappy. I didn't know you could aquire any other types of drum sounds. I'm using the "hip hop" kit for this next little slap thing I'm going to record.
