funny thing about my amp

Most any amp does that. Don't worry about it. Either be satisfied it with sub-maximum volume, or purchase a bigger one.

It's your speakers overloading.

Don't do it, it can seriously damage them

That distortion noise, believe it or not, is your amp distorting.

Don't worry about it, man. You shouldn't blast your amp...it's not good for the speakers or the amp itself. I wouldn't put it above 8, because you want that headroom.

If you need more volume, you're going to have to buy a bigger amp...look into some bigger Gallien Krueger or Peavey combos...those amps are my favorites.

Just don't push your amp to the limit. :p

A 15 watt amp really isn't made to played at ... 15 watts.

i played my 15 at 10 volume beacause otherwise it was to quiet

Its a crate and it didnt distort

However seeing as its a 15 watt u can probably detroy as another wil be cheap to buy.
