You should give the thread a point. Ask a question or something.

I like TBDM I bought their latest Miasma recently and I'm liking it.

I saw them a couple months ago with Between The Buried and Me. They put on a pretty good show, but I haven't really listened to them much outside of that.

I really like the Miasma's guitar work, they finally added some good harmonic minor solos which sounds killer. They're albums pwns for lyrics, but some guitar work were great. I wouldn't really consider them mallcore, they're old albums were really different.

Seen them twice already and I agree on miasma being a great cd. Their guitarist is amazing and almost every riff and solo on that cd makes love to my ears.

They're good but the voice gets a little annoying. Mute did you like BTBAM?

I can't say I care for these guys much at all. I loved them when I first heard Unhallowed, but then I started to notice how these guys recycle riffs beyond belief.

They were the whole reason I even went to the show, and they didn't disappoint. Awesome band.

Who exactly would consider them mallcore?

They're death metal, and very good DM at that

I just got Miasma via AIM. I didn't get a chance to listen to it, but I will post my opinion after I do.

i beleive there heavy metal-core but they are part death metal as well as BTBAM but they are more experimental.

They have a more traditional death metal sound than BTBAM. I don't think the bands sound alike at all

yeah i understand your views, both use blast beats hense the death metal sound but they do have an individual sound in there riffs from each other. I think the idea of metal-core and death metal mixed goes really well together. Is it me or is it becoming more popular?

Black Dahlia Murder doesn't do anything that metalcore bands do, whether it be vocals, breakdowns, chug-chug riffs, hardcore shouts, BTBAM does do a lot of that stuff, but they mix it in with death metal

BDM mixes death metal with a little thrash and Gothenburg maybe, but no -core IMO

Their first demo, What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse had a great deal of metalcore influence to it. They seem to have dropped that now.

I don't have their demo, I'm going by their albums
