i got a mixer dealie hooked up to my computer via usb. how does i make audacity pick it up to record stuff?
i got my drums miced and ready to go, i jsut need to figure out this crap.

On the main audacity screen to the right of the pic of the microphone select "what you hear". Press record and you should be good to go.

hmmmm, check which input you're running it into (in the program on the top there is a selection window with various input sources). If that doesn't work check the preferences, last time I recorded with audacity and a mixer we used a standard 1/4" to RCA Y cable into my soundcard.

are you talking about the drop down box that has "wave, line in,etc" in it?
sorry, im an idiot when it comes to recording .
i got a doo doo behringer mixer from a friend and was told i could run it though my tascam us-122 to record on my comp with...any help would be great.
the software/directions that came with this tascam dealie suckballs.
