Just watched the preview video of Jojo Mayer at MD2005 on drummerworld...wow. Anyway i was wondering what kind of snare he's using in this (main snare).
Off his website:
"2- 14" by 4" Snare drum (either Sonor Light with a birch shell, or Sonor
HD-400 steel shell). Always with flanged hoops. "Die-cast hoops don't work for me !"
But that looks like an old set up. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what it was, sounds amazing imo.
Oh and another question, how is the DVD as a whole? I'm thinking of getting it but only a few of the drummers that are on it interest me, and no DC, how disappointing :( So if anyone has it, could they tell me is it worth the £40?
