for me I relly like metallica but i just dont like the voice of james.

For a band to be as good live as Metallica are better livewhich means = the best live
sorry i dont want to sound like a guy who just listens to metallica and knows all about em but i have them in "cunning stunts" and OMG it is awesome

toss up between pantera and tool from what i've seen personally.
the only other metal i've seen is the opeth lamentations dvd which absolutely owns aswell.

hard decision between tool and pantera.. :\
both were flawless and kicked arse respectively.
but i guess i'd go with tool.. the atmosphere and visual aspect of the show edges out pantera.

Hmm, they're not what I'd usually say but Black Sabbath at the UK Download warm up show in Aylesbury completely blew me away, 250 person venue with the original Sabbath right on top me. :amaze: . Other bands include Tool, Black Label Society, Mudvayne and Lamb of God.

Well I'm not some obessed Metallica fan and I don't like where their music has gone to at all these days, but I must say that METALLICA is the band that sticks out in my head when I think of great live perfomances. Live Sh*t is in my opinion the most solid and memorable live metal collection there is.
