Are the FXR series cheaper or more expensive than the CX/MX series? Are the EZ series worth buying? And PdP users, please give me some feedback on the pdp sets.Thanks.:thumb:

Im thinking of an FXR, but is there away to reduce the sizes of the drums? like the bass and the floor tom, cause i prefer small kits.Thanks.
And the MX/CX/LX series all seem to have the same set up. Is there a difference to the sets?

Other than the finishes? Well, are the prices of LX/CX/MX all the same or are they different? And does PdP allow resizing of drums such as, changing the bass drum from 22x18 to 20x16?

The reason PDP are affordable is because they are basically all carbon copies of each other aside from Finishes or whichever amount of drums you chose to purchase. They don't do custom finishes or custom sizes you get a couple to pick from and that's it thy are all fusion sizes too except for the fxr if I'm not mistaken.

they are all the same, except for everything below the CX/MX...the CX/MX/LX are the only ones worth the money unless you really like the LXE finish...

I heard a pdp set at a show once, they had no resonation what so ever. Really dead sounding, after that I never really bothered looking into those drums.

I heard the FXR yesterday, sounded great. If I dont get a custom kit next, I think I'll be going with it.

The only difference between models are the finishes

CX - maple with a wrap
MX - Maple satin stain
LX - Maple gloss lacquer
LXE - Maple with kurilian birch outer ply, gloss lacquer

FS - Birch with satin stain
FXR - birch with gloss lacquer.

All maple drums are available in 8", 10", 12", 14", 16" toms
FS is only available in 10", 12", 14"
FXR available in 10", 12", 14", 16"

Bass drums are 22x18, ecept the LXE is available in 20x18
