I've been looking for a new 24" bass drum and came across this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/PEARL-DRUMS-SRX-24x18-BASS-DRUM-DISCONTINUED-STOCK-291_W0QQitemZ7367479896QQcategoryZ64441QQssPageNam eZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
What line is the SRX is equal to? I can't remember.

It seems like a pretty good deal for the price, considering it's brand new.

Thoughts?

my suggestions to you are make your own you can make your own maple one same size for about that much, you can have it drilld and everything to. amdrumparts.com or conaway if you want a fancy finish. Look around for used drums im sure that you would be able to find a nice ludwig.

Gotta make sure you can fit the bass drum though. I'm tempted to get a 24" on a kit that would have 2 floors and a rack tom.

conaway would be nice, but they don't do single bass drums, and i'm not looking an entire new kit.

so again, does anyone know what series the SRX is called now?
