I bought a second hand Boss Gt-5 and some times when I move the ouput and input chords around the connection breaks and I get mega feedback (like when you turn amp on and hold end of chord in hand). Sometimes it does it with out even moving anything. I want to use it on stage but with its uncontrolled feedback crap I would be very afraid to use it. Anyone else ever had this problem?

One thing I did was open it up and push the metal tab thingy down so it was a tighter fit, but the input jack has a metal caseing around it so I dont want to take it off in worry I might damage something.

Any Ideas?

Try tightening the hex nuts on the back of the GT-5. If that doesn't do anything you might try cleaning the inside of the jacks by either buying a cleaner or using Q-tips. If all that fails you could either have faulty wiring considering its second hand or your cables may be bad.

Isn't there little nuts around the edges of the input jacks on the back. I'm not sure, I'm just guessing since thats what they look like on my GT-8.
