It would sound a lot better if you had real drums and put some variations in them. Also a guitar/keyboard. I would also add space in your b lines cause funk aint about what you play but what you dont.

and tell your vocalist to cut that anthony keidis crap.

you got the backbone for a boring song honestly. just sounds like two friends messing around, but thats it.

LOL... i think the vocals are awful but hilarious HAHA. ditch the drum machine. I like the bass playing though. The groove is nice. Watch your timing though, it isn't as perfect as it should be.
