Hipshot ultralites

Hey everyone. Anyone here use hipshot ultralites? or any other similar type machine heads? Do they genuinely make a difference to a neck heavy instrument or is it all hype? And are they still the same quality despite being lighter?

They're more than just hype. Many people use them to solve neck dive on quite a few instruments. Hipshot products are also very quality things. Good stuff. :thumb:

Hey thanks. I play a thunderbird so any way to reduce neck dive is a great bonus. Anyone any other opinions on ultralites?

man, why does Hipshot's website suck so much? it doesn't ooze quality at all even though they are quality
