this should might be in beginner questions but i dont know. what strings come on a squier afinnity p bass and is there anywherte to buy it? or could somebody reccomend me some low end beefy string to get a sound like The Clash, or Dead Kennedys?

there most probobly fender strings, if they are you can buy them from almost anywhere i think

For what it's worth, I've been quite happy with GHS Boomer mediums on my MIM P basses - plenty of bottom end, and nice and bright, too... I don't see why they wouldn't work with your Squire - they *might* require some minor tweaking of your bass, but probably not...

GHS Fatties, though will sound pretty beefy.

A few punk rock bands play ernie balls, I dont like them.
Try sum D'Addario strings, good all round sound IMO
