because chris' kubicki ex-factor is the most perfect and greatest bass ever and so is tryxx's modulus. i luv those things. besides that what do you guys hate the most about ur bass/basses? like do you think the bridge sucks or you wish you could have an active eq? you can also do it about ur amp or effect pedals, if you want. have fun.:thumb:

They have those commercials in Canada too. That kid is so creepy.
I like the way my bass feels, but the pickups suck. The electronics hum, and they don't offer much tonal variety as well. And the setup doesn't stay very well, I have to redo the action and intonation a lot.

Right:
Schecter: I wish the fretboard was maple and the neck was wenge
CH 6 string: I wish it had better tuners/stayed in tune better
Ibanez:I wish it didn't have big holes in the scratchplate where I took the incredibly annoying thumbrest out! I wish the wonky pot wasnt wonky, I wish I could be bothered to get it a pro setup!
Ovation acoustic guitar: I wish it had a better action higher up the neck
Silvertone electric guitar: I wish it wasnt black.
:p It might seem like I hate my instruments but I actually love them all! I'm just thinking of ways I could make them superly greater :)

anyway, i wish my warwick thumb had a slightly thinner neck....but then it wouldnt have its distinctive tone...so really, im pretty chuffed with it
although im thinking of changing out the preamp and pups for either barts or emg
any thoughts?

I'd give my Modulus fanned frets.
I'd probably give my ESP frets back since I have the Warwick, and maybe a mahogony body with EMG pups.
I wish my 8 string actually had 8 strings on it...
Wish the 'Wick has Dimarzio Model J's and a list of other upgrades, plus a Diamondkoted neck.
The Michael Kelly is pretty much perfect for what it is...

Well, I hate the fact nobody is as good as me at buying Schecter basses.

Come play it, listen to some Vail Johnson, then you'll see why people like Kubicki. As for the looks issue, I really dig it. I don't like P basses, but I'll bet there are millions who do.
As for faults with it...
None, it's perfect for me, and once you really get to grips with the modes and the EQ, it's a dream come true.

Not at all fond of the Pups on my 2nd MIM P bass - and that I don't have any cabs with 10s in them... Pup wise, I have 2 sets of Schaller Pups coming that should be an improvement to both my basses - and hopefully have the same output levels and similar tones... Cab wise, I plan on buying a 410(or two), or an 810... Oh, and I need an AEB, too... Fortunately, that's all I can think of at the moment....

Ok...
My Vintage Fretless - the Precision pickup is a touch noisy, and gorgeous though the neck is, it marks easily.
Dean DB96 - There's a deadspot high up on the G string, and the electronics are... shot to buggery.
My acoustic - I wish it didn't feel crap when you get past the 15th fret. But it was very cheap.
My Vintage EST96B I can't really complain about. It's been solid as a rock for the last three years.

Schecter: I wish it had DiMarzio humbuckers in it...that's not Schecter's fault, really, since DiMarzio doesn't make PUPs like that...but still.

Jazz: My pickguard is off and I wisht hat random nickel-sized hole wasn't there.

Good luck with that, I was trying to buy one and they stopped making them apparently. Unless you're getting it second hand?
