Warwick Thumb, but I think (towards the end of his days with Incubus) he started using a Warwick Dolphin as well.
He also used a fretless Fender Jazz (Are You in?)

^i've got that wall paper. :thumb:
Dirks main bass was the 5 string Warwick Stage II streamer w/ yin yang inlay's... Though, he has been seeing playing an Infinity, dolphin, i believe a thumb too?....He's also got some vintage fender's. played a red jazz on the MV sessions DVD...
he genereally played through Eden 8x10's w/ eden head's... in the later days anyways. i havent found what he used in the beginning's....
Anyone know what happened to him? i e-mailed BP magazine to see if they could look up where / what he's doing now a day's. Last i heard he joined Stickman Entertainment to do back ground music for games.

His main bass was definately a Streamer Stage II in the later days of Incubus, but I'm pretty sure he started out with Fender Jazz basses.
According to the interview on the Warwick Homepage, he recorded "the last two records with Warwick basses". As Make Yourself was the current record at the time of the interview, he recorded Fungus Amungus with a different one. Like I said, I think it was a Fender Jazz.

Look in the sleeve notes of Fungus Amoungus. On that sleeve and the sleeve for Enjoy Incubus they thank Warwick Basses. So he was clearly playing Warwicks at the time. He may have played others, but i would say the Warwicks are the main ones used.
