ok im trying to play pulling teeth by metallica, using my ibanez gsr200, harkte B150 and my zoom 506 II fx pedal. i cant seem to get the right sound using the wah and distortion etc
i was wondering is there anyone here who has the same pedal and could advise what settings i should set to what to achieve cliffs sound

i hav the same pedal and also find it hard to achieve burtons tone

hmmm well whats the closest youve got, what are the settings for each thing?

you should get the expression pedal to do the wah correctly. But, really... just turn on the overdrive and the resonant wah and your set. And maybe set the Eq at 44ish for presence.

the expression pedal on it's own is the wah pedal alone. you can get an expression pedal in the form of a wah-wah pedal or a volume pedal (wah-wah to make it..go wahwah, and volume to increase/decrease the volume)
burton used a morley power bass wah I believe, but a dunlop bass wah should work fine

uhhhh he was talking about the zoom506II.... as it states in the thread title. You can get an expression pedal for the zoom that can control a number of effects (not just wah), and volume.
