Paul: The amp is really nice. Has a great tone, although the lows are a bit overpowering (I'm getting a compressor for that). It's just as loud as my Roland, I'd say. Not as versatile, but can get the few tones I couldn't get from my Roland. Simple 3-band EQ, and two gain stages. Two inputs.

I think I'm gonna hold off on the Bongo for now. Just a touch too modern for me. The Ray and Ric are a bit more classic sounding, which is the direction I'm going for.

It isn't my price, but the cost is $25AUD per hour. I get $20 of that.
