Just wondering what this chord means? I have a tab that calls for the C/G-High followed by the regular C/G chords. Please help me out here, im a noob.

I havent a clue in the slightest, but by a hazarded guess maybe it means to play the chords in a higher pitched voicing...just a guess ;)

higher voicings? i've got two higher voicings there based on barre chords . . .
C/G (high) 3 3 5 5 5 x(3) or x 10 10 9 8 8
C/G 3 3 2 0 1 0 (normal 4 fingered C)

ok cause the tab uses the C/G-high followed by C/G on a bridge so its nothing with voicing

Have you got a link to the tab? Either that or upload it so we can see. I would have said higher voicing too, so something like:

x x x 17 18 17
