hey i just need help to dicide
which one to buy?
the big muff...russian or usa model...
wats the difference..
or should i get a boss distortion pedal..
well i wanna get a sound of
black sabbath, iron maiden, pink floyd
or megadeth...into one pedal...
...any suggestions or can show me
wat to choose or help me choose..

um, distortion pedals are mainly used if you have a stack(head and cab), because most heads have weak distortion levels. i wouldn't recommend using a distortion pedal if you have a combo. unless its a 2 x 12, then you can, as long as you trun down the gain level on the amp and control the distortion level on the pedal.

but if you really want it...then i say get the boss. can't go worng with one.

boss metal zone, or the ds1 by boss is kinda good for that. depends on if you have a good amp.

I disagree, it seems the reason a distortion pedal is needed here is because his combo's distortion is too weak to produce the sound he is looking for. It depends on the sound you are after, my crappy prac amp sounds half decent with a metal-zone through the clean channel. But all it does is metal, in fact it could be argued that all it does well is thrash metal. Anyway that is neither here nor there, you need to try the pedals at a store that has your model of amp.
