I've been trying to play alot of Linkin Park lately and i'm having trouble with the harmonics ringing out in a few songs, in particular Pushing me Away (if your not sure look up the tab for it), and this is really annoying cos when you pick another note it sounds like s***. I know there's a way to stop harmonics from ringing out, cos Brad does it live, but i don't know how to do it. Any help anyone?

Wow, that was a helpful post.
I don't quite get what you mean by "ringing out". The harmonics I think you're referring to are just fret harmonics, I have both LP albums and I've never heard a single pinched harmonic.

Start developing a technique of using your palm to slightly mute the strings you're not playing.
Linkin Park is REALLY lame though
