hi there,
im not a beginner on guitar, however i didnt know where else to post this! I spent the first 2 - 3 years playing guitar incorrectly. Thinking that heavy rock / metal was "aggressive", i played like that too, and it wasnt until a few months ago (after buying 'speed mechanics for lead guitar' by troy stetina) that i discovered that very little tension should be used throughout your playing. Whilst trying to alleviate my problem with this, i have also noticed another problem - my hands go insanely cold (ice cold) when playing guitar or on the computer etc.. i have been to my gp twice about the tension problems and each time they have given me a blood pressure test and assured me that everything seems fine. obviously it is not, since my hands (even now) are as cold as ice. any help from anyone (preferably who knows about this / overcame this problem) would be very much appreciated!
thanks
