I need to recover a fender bassman cabinet, grill cloth and surrounding wood covering. None of the music stores in my area carry the cloth. Does anyone know of a different type of store that I should be checking, or of a store online that carries it? I don't care if the grill cloth looks original or not, but I would like something sturdy on the wood.
Thanks.

Go to a Craft/material store... they should sell somthing similar(at least the one by me had somthin similar), & for cheaper.

I think the word you're looking for is "restoring."

I wan't to get some cool 60's shag(...carpeting), just for that retro vibe, and use that instead of w/e the black stuff on amps is.

That makes me think of that commercial where there were those 2 people in that car, and the driver was like "tuck n' roll grandma" and he gave that old lady the ****in boot.
Muwhaha..old people..bailing out of cars..unwillingly...makes my day.
