you guys like this kind of stuff...
Is it just me, or does it sound like you've had an encounter lately with people who really, really don't? :)
I like the tone you're getting - just a pity about the spill on the recording. A nice job though. :thumb:
And nice touch with racking up the points at the end...

thanks for the compliments & comments (both positive and negative), guys.
sorry about the long download - I can't host video files on my server anymore because I will manage to get 200,000+ hits in a day (when somebody like MSN decides to link the video) and bring my host's server to it's knees. So I'm forbidden to have videos on my site.... :upset:
as for the rush/hack job, if it isn't obvious, this was another chance meeting with a video camera... I was meeting some of the guys that had worked on the hideous claw and they wanted an impromptu performance. There happened to be a guy there filming a documentary on lutheiry and filmed it... I was late for band practice and out the door and I had probably way too much caffeine in my system hahaha, but I think the quality of the footage is 100x better than the last one.
One of these days I'll have someone with a video camera film me where I can sit down and do a video right (or at least run through it a couple of times before being filmed), but until then this is all I have.

I don't post in this forum much, mostly in the Guitar section but I also am learning bass and that is awesome that the real Jean Baudin posts here. Expect more of me around.

It's not hard to follow the link, go to the search bar, and type "Jean Baudin".
Anyway, great job Jean, I love the tone of the Joust. I just wish you would do a version of this without it being so rushed.

Well, he doesn't really. Just everyone once and awhile. But it still is cool. Just go over to talkbass, I think he posts on there on a more regular basis, and so do a bunch of other well known bassists/luthiers.
You suck. In no way do you deserve your basses, they're much to expensive for someone of such obvious low skill.

I have one suggestion, when you're playing mario, when the clock is running short it plays a little alarm melody and then goes faster, if you did that, it would kick ***.
and that recording was amazing.
