ive heard of MXPX before but ive never really listened to them. In my graphic arts class some kid was always hogging the vinyl machine to make stickers and all of them were mxpx ones.

MxPx is a pop-punk band, fairly decent. Drummer is quite good. Saw them at warped '03. Good Live band

The drummer uses all Paiste Signatures... one of the only "punky" drummers I've really noticed to do so . Aside from the guy from Gob, but apparently he can only afford a set of Signature Sound Edge hats .

HOLY MESS, YOU LIVE NEXT TO YURI!!!!!! IN BREMERTON?!?!?!?! Crap. I wish i had your house. MXPX is the shiznit and though i'm not to crazy about their last two albums all the ones before that were superb punk albums. And they're somewhat of a christian band to....they're amazing. Yes i have heard of them and htey are one of my favorite bands. I wish i lived where you did

Eh.
Most of the religious freaks at school rave about them.
So, I decided not to listen to them.
Yup.

they're not totally like "worship jesus" or anything but they are christians and some of their beliefs do leak into some of their stuff, atleast their older stuff anyways, i dunno about hte last two albums seeing as i didn't buy em cuz i didn't like em

I don't like MXPX at all. I really dislike punk/pop-punk, and it doesn't get too much pop-punkier. Similar to Pespi, the whole Christian/ska loves them, and to show a difference in styles, i like to place a healthy distance between myself and both ska (that less than jake type ****) and christianity.

YOU LIVE NEXT TO YURI!!!!!

He's a really good drummer as far as i'm concerned, dude your so friggin' lucky. How come I don't live near or meet famous people? My friend met flava flav outside a club once and he's met the stones, tom petty, aerosmith, blink 182(3 times)

I thought yuri still played zildjians? Thats the last I heard anyways.

^Flava Flav is a retard. I'm happier *not* to have met him.

You're kidding, right?

Not everyone is rich enough to have an entire setup of Zildjian K's.

You're kidding, right? Grab a piece of reality dude. K's go for half of what Signatures do. As for these guys I'm talking about, they are all professionals, ie., they can afford whatever gear they want, they are MAKING MONEY off of it, so it's all easily justifiable.
