OK guys I have no clue what's going on with my guitar.I have two problems, the first is I was just getting ready to play and I plugged in my guitar and never got any sound, it's not the amp I'm positive on that one because the plug in part on my guitar is really lose and I'm thinking that's my problem but I need to know how it might have gotten that way and if it's something I can fix myself or if I should just take it to a shop and get it checked out.For the other problem I'm guessing I'll probably have to go get it fixed, thing is, my guitar never stays in tune,I just bought this guitar about five months ago and it sounded wicked when I first got it,but now I have to retune after heavy strumming or bending, typically every 10 or 15 minutes. Can anyone tell me whut the heck is going on here? I'd really appreciate it :)

What kind of guitar do you have (specific brand and style)?
To fix the input jack on the guitar, find a wrench that fits snugly around the nut, and tighten, like you would any nut/bolt. If it still doesn't work, take it into the shop after making sure the volume/gain is up on your amp, and trying a different instrument cable to connect the guitar and the amp. If they charge you any more than 25 bucks (American) to fix an input jack, they are stealing from you.

... could be a number of things
> new strings (stretch them then tune) will take a while to stabilize and hold tune
> could be how the strings are installed on the tuning posts - might be slipping a bit under heavy playing
> might be the tuners themselves
