Not necessarily, I myself live an hour and a half away, but have been to Kingston many of times. It's not really a 'bad' place, there's just recently been a pro-Nazi uprising, with Nazi literature, and white-power skins in the streets, so they're holding a rally, and we're combating it. Aside from the white-power uprising, it's your standard town/city, it has it's ups and downs.

Well, it went like this. Nazi literature, and white-power skins have been not really organizing, but 'in the streets' so to speak. They haven't been holding organized rallies, but they have been making their presense around the schools, and the neighborhoods known. We're holding this rally at Kingston High School to combat that presense, and let them know that we'll go anywhere, I mean anywhere to combat them from taking the streets. We organized this rally not too long ago, and as a sort of combat back, they stated that they would make their presense known at our rally as well. We are looking to do a march, and holding speeches/speakers as well. Read the full article in the link, it explains a lot.

EDIT: To be more exact, they are organizing under local Hudson Valley radio host Hal Turner and known area Nazi Jim Leshkevich. They are holding their rally that day, and organizing, so we are combating, or "crashing" so to speak, as you put it, their rally.

Good to hear mate, and I hope all goes well too. As a non-violent, non-cops/court using organization, the only thing we really fear is violent resistance which will be most probable from Nazis, but we're prepared for it. Your best wishes are appriciated mate. :thumb:

Hah, will do mate! I'm going to protect myself for sure, but I just don't fight, but don't get me wrong, I will protect myself. Hopefully i'll be able to sneak pictures in here or there, but that is not probable because most ARA are against it because of fear of Nazi retaliation against them or their loved ones, so hopefully i'll be able to sneak a few pictures that don't reveal anyone, maybe a few of myself, because i'll be the one wearing the gorilla mask. :)

Yeah I'm like that. I hate having my picture taken at protests and demonstrations. Not for the same reason as the ARA guys. I don't want any form of celebrity for protesting. Some reporter tried to photograph me at a march against the DSei in London and I just shoved the sign at the camera, and he said "I don't want the sign, boy, I want your face." What the hell?! It's a protest not a fu'cking glamour shoot.

That has to do with it too, I was just using the retaliation aspect as an example. :)

i can remember when there was this aniti racism meeting thing near mine about stopping people being predjudice against the immigrants. me and my friend went, (and my friend has a skin head), and at the door they said they didnt want us in there but we argued our way in and all we got was dirty looks by most of the people there so we just left.
