I'm sitting here listening to Sounding a Mosaic , and I'm thinking.
Where the hell did these guys come from so fast? I'd never heard anyone talk about them then all of a sudden there was a ska/reggae band that had music videos on t.v semi-consistantly.
Also, what do you guys think about them? I personally think they are alrite nothing super fantastic but they are great music to just chill to.

Just finished downloading that too. I love the use of tomtoms (maybe, a skin drum anyway) and the acoustic guitar. Lol, I just realised I downloaded Hey Beautiful Day and When The Night Feels My Song and they are exactley the same. Some people are too stupid to name a song properly.

Heard them on the lock up, but I got a Damien Marley album instead when I went to get it, but I will get it in the end, they are on Side One Dummy, which is the only reason they got played on the lock up, cos that guy doesnt play enough reggae, too much post-hardcore now.

that seems cool until you read what you'll be judged on
"1. Radio Appeal
- Is the song radio friendly? Does it have potential to be a radio hit? Does it work with existing radio formats (i.e. Hip Hop & R&B or Alternative Rock, etc.)?
2. Band's 'Breakout Potential'
- Does the band have the right look and the right sound? Is their sound relevant to the market? Do they have breakout potential'?
3. Song Qualities
- How good is the song in structure, lyrical content and style? Is this song a hit? Can this song be a lead single?
4. Innovation
- Does the band have a distinct sound and voice? Is the song different or unique -- will it stand out? Does the band merit a financial investment?"

Sounds like it was organised by Columbia Records or Sony.

I think Bedouin Soundclash is sweet. I'm also in a three-piece ska/reggae band, so it's inspiring to find like-minded people. It's very catchy stuff.
My AIM screen name is Arsonmadeeasy. If anyone wants to trade an Inner Terrestrials album for anything, I'd be very, very, very thankful.
