Hey guys, i think it' sbeen asked before but does anyone have the steve Gadd lick notated. YOu know, the one played before like everysingle video on drummerworld. Anyways, i watched it in slow motion and i still have a hard time telling whats going on cuz of the distortion of the sound in slow motion. Thanks

Awww, noooo, I just found that the awesome website http://www.intrepidsoftware.com/sgadd/grooves.php is no longer available, anyone know what has happened to it? Or if it has just been moved?

they are just paraddiles and variations of paradiddles played extremely fast, as are all the amazing things that he plays. one of them was rlrrlrrl he just moves his hands around, just get the pad out and start working at things like this. and you will be able to play every gadd groove.

Come on, guys...when your question is answered by the threadstarter in his first post, is it REALLY worth asking?

Poppin, although the lick may be somewhat derived from a paradiddle, it's definitely not a paradiddle or any of the standard variations, as there are rests and bass notes in the groove.
