View Full Version : The screen goes black?

Sorry for another computer help question but i dont know where else to go for help.
My dad has a Hewlett Packard DV1000 laptop and he says when he turns it on, he can hear the fan and processor working but the screen stays black.
Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers

Yeah, the only thing I could think of would be to contact them, if its a hardware problem its better to let them deal with it rather than risk messing things up more
