bass isolation on cd's

is there a program that can isolate the bass guitar on cd's and mp3's? (ex: the call of the ktulu that someone posted like a week ago) the only other way besides a specialized program that i can think of is a many many many banded eq and trying to isolate it like that

there might be but that would rely on creative eq-ing aswel, which isn't that effective (there are too many other sounds which coincide with the range of a bass - so it cannot be completely isolated).... the best way is to just keep listening to basslines, after a while you should be able to just focus on the bass parts (must have skill to have for a bassist... especially if your playing with others)
