Why is the headstock black in the first picture and natural in the third?Look closer. There are two headstocks in the 3rd pic. :thumb:

I think they were putting the year in the serial number by then.

Yeah, I checked Fender's site, but the Jap serial numbers from the 80s were inspecific.
