America's Army...???

Yeah i download the game America's Army (freeware) from

www.download.com

but

when i click it says "this is not a valid win 32 application"

what does this mean ?

how do i get it to work ?

anyone else had this ?

It means your computer does not recognise the .exe file
or it's a dodgy version or incomplete files etc

You should of downloaded it from somewhere better...:thumb:

Yeah there's a media center for this stuff. Take it there or ask a mod to move it.

It's a fairly large file.

Download it from the official site and you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

Yeah, wasn't that good to be honest. It's annoying when you have to spend hours doing the training missions before getting to actually play online at all

One of the best freeware games anyway. Some people have problems with lag though, I do sometimes, but I think that's down to the video card, not the connection.

i didn't download mine though, it came with the return to wolfenstein single player for pc ages ago

It does not take hours to do the basic training only 10 mins at most

so in 10 mins you are playing online

Its an awesome game, but a bit laggy. Spend 10 mins on 4 basic training missions (basically just rush through em) and you'll be online in no time. They're good just to get used to a couple of basics. Then I suggest you go on bridge crossing: best level on the game.

Then again, you could spend £20 on Half Life 2 with Counter Strike: Source and never need to play anything else ever.

I lost 6 months of my life to that game. Gotta love Bridge Crossing. I'd suggest finding the U.S. Army [Ancients] server, that's my old clan and they're all really nice people.
