What is a spoiler?
Basically, a spoiler is any tidbit of information that gives away the ending or reveals any major plot points/twists to any type of media (movie, game, novel, comic strip...etc). Most spoilers only relate to material that was only recently released but that is no excuse to throw around endings to a 5 year old movie that someone might not have seen yet.

By doing that, your spoiler will remain hidden until someone clicks the "quote" button at the bottom of your post, it is usually helpful to let people know you have a spoiler in your post, to do this, write "quote for spoiler" at the bottom of your post. This will not only allow people to see your spoiler if they wish, but it will also ensure users who don't want spoilers can quote your post via the "quick reply" without having anything wrecked.

Remember, ( (insert spoiler here))
