Although to be honest I don't think I've fully grasped the difference between Oi! and Punk, as far as I can tell I like a good amount of the stuffs.

Oxymoron are street punk, but don't worry, we all make this mistake. It's like a punk rite of passage to call Oxymoron oi and get beaten up by a skinhead

Anyone care to explain the differences to me? I've been listening to it for awhile now, but never really bothered/cared about what all the subgenres meant and how they could be identified. But it seems ignorant to me now not to at least know a few of the basic subgenres.

Couldn't Oxymoron be considered Oi! as well?

I'd say that street punk and oi are closely related. Plenty of bands have been labeled oi and have openly stated that they were just playing punk all along.

Major Accident is god.
I believe Oxymoron is Street Punk.
Oi! and Street Punk can be linked together by lyrics and music.

I love Oi. C'ock Sparrer and Sham 69 are probally my favourite oi bands. I also like Cockney Rejects and Angelic Upstarts. I think Peter and The Test Tube Babies are considered Oi aren't they? Because I called them street once and someone said they were not.

I would not call the Test Tube Babies oi or street punk. They're just another second wave punk band. Label any band you want, it matters not.

eh, i think most people consider them to be an oi band. Sure, they are not typical, but when they started playing they did shows with many oi bands and various aspects of their music (like the choruses) have an oi sound. Either way though, whatever genre you call them, they are good.

I wouldn't call them oi, but they definetly have alot of oi influences. The toy dolls have a genre of their own i guess

Skrewdriver were a good oi band.
Either Combat or Condemned are the band that refused to play a show with The Templars because they have a black member.
