I searched for a thread on this but couldnt find any. Has anyone seen/like this movie. Is it the goriest movie you have ever seen? Discuss.

Yeah, there've been several threads about it. But I can't resist increasing my post count using the same message.

I liked it, but the ending wasn't explained well, leaving it confusing.

This was hardly the goriest movie I've seen.

Did you see the NC-17 version? Was either the goriest i have seen or up in the top 3.

There was a thread a while back entitled Haute Tension (its origional name)

Its a good film, the twist at the end isnt bad, and for a film entirely dubbed it was pretty good, Not exactly the goriest thing ive ever seen but still, pretty decent film

The movie started out with them speaking English, but switched to French about fifteen minutes in...

There were plenty of holes, like [SPOILER] who were the pictures of the other girls? and where did the truck come from? and how did the main girl give the tied up girl the knife while still driving? etc. [END SPOILER]

It was meh...

Besides the couple of plot holes, and a few predicable moments, I thought the movie was awesome. I just saw it today, and it made me cringe a few times. Like the barbed wire stake.... ouch. And Marie looked so bad *** with all the blood and running with the saw. :D

I saw the unrated version and I don't know how it differs from the rated one, but horror fans should at least check this out. You see boobs.

Oh, and the first scene with the killer and the decapitated head is hilarious.

The whole movie is Marie telling what she believes to have happened. She's schizophrenic and believes the man to be a totally different person, rather than another part of her being. That's how we get all the moments of them being in separate places, when they never actually were.

I saw it when it came out, and only remember that the twist wasn't really explained well, not necessarily leaving plot holes, but confusing, open ends.

The unrated verision was an ok at best. Very confusing movie though.
