Like the title says, what was your first show ever? Most of us didn't exactly start off with a bang. More like a meaty thud.

Mine was Yellowcard and Less Than Jake. It was a few month before Yellowcard exploded into the MTV scene. I thought they were good too. Then super-stardom hit, and the allure wore off.

So, what was your first show?

Then i went to a radio festival with Less Than Jake, Something Corporate, Yellowcard, AFI, The Ataris, Hoobastank and some more. Than i saw AFI again with Coheed and Thursday. Then i went to Coast To Coast Roast 2004 with RBF, RXB, C22, LBC, and SL. take your pic as to which one was the first "show".

I was too poor to go to any concert like these, so I grew up listening to friends tell me tales of Blink-182 and Green Day concerts because I couldn't afford to go. My first show was a local show: the Secretions, Grouvie Ghoulies, the Knockoffs, and Pressure Point. Like, five years ago. And I got in free because the guitarist of the Secretions is my cousin.

First concert (other than hundreds of local events and my dad's band):

The Turtles. 1998.

If it didn't happen in 1998, i'd probably sound like I'm 50 years old.

My first punk/ska show was a local show. It was also an outdoor show, which was weird. I was only there to see one band, the cheapskates, because I knew the bassist, but I also now know that another local band, the misdemeanors played there too. I had seen them a few times since.

What I consider my first local show, even though it was after that outdoor concert, was at this local coffee house that has punk/ska shows on the weekends. I saw the cheapskates, another local band, and parkhurst, which is a band that I believe collin from Mustard Plug is in. When I saw them, though, they were still known as moniker.

Alexisonfire + The Planet Smashers, and a few other bands I didnt care too much for. It was amazing to the maximum.

That was my first big concert. My first local show was a local show with The Heatskores, The Flatliners, the Septic Tank Disasters, and a couple of other punk bands.

The 3tards with the Antics, Heatskores, Ikilled Jesus, Corpusse, The lakeshore bandits and full cup orchestra.

I'm going to that, I think. Depends on if I can find a ride to Toronto/get some funds to get in. A few of my friends saw the 3tards the other night with the Misfits and a few other bands, but the ticks were 35 dollars or something, I figured I'd just wait until december.

And, to stay on topic, my first show was Rancid, Tiger Army, and Roger Meiret and the Disasters.
