I had to write a review for my english class so here yah go.

Being known for their appeal to metal and grunge guitarists throughout the years, Ibanez set out to make another rock-solid axe for under $300.00, and they certainly didn’t disappoint with this one.

The Grx20Z is obviously going for an extreme Strat look and succeeds gloriously. The midnight finishing on this guitar is astonishing and the matching pick guard really adds a great finishing touch. However, the blue finish lost its glossiness rather quickly and gave it a weathered look after only a few weeks. In addition the blue finish with the black pick guard masks a lot of the distinct features. The chrome hardware stands out quite a bit and adds a professional look to it. Overall it’s a great looking guitar with the midnight finish, but the blue finish doesn’t look the greatest.

Not only does it look good it feels pretty good too. Its thick neck takes a little getting used to, but the overall smoothness of it makes worth any initial aggressions. It has a nice curve to the inner side of the guitar giving it a nice feel and fitting well against the body. The rosewood fret board gives it a strong, firm feel and a solid grip. The frets were exceptionally low making slides sound and feel smooth and bending string a breeze. Overall it feels great whether you’re sitting or standing.

Now the most important aspect of any guitar, the sound. The GRX 20 Z’s double humbucker offers a wide range of sound, from a thick, grungy sound to a hardcore, screech that would please the most extreme guitarists; making it capable of spewing forth shrieking leads as well as bone crunching power chords. With the 5 position switch and dual volume knobs gave an additional abundance of variety.

The GRX has humbuckers for solid leads, metallic finishes, and every one will find a perfect time and place for this guitar. That's why it proudly says "Ibanez" and not "by Ibanez" on the headstock.

Grammar. Weak ending.

(I'm an english fuhhhreak)

I don't like Ibanez guitars. Then again, I have only played the 300-350 $$$ models
