It appears as if no one even knows about this band. But then again, not many people are into grindcore these days. I think they're awesome. Anyone else like them?

yeah ive been meaning to check them out along with burnt by the sun.

EDIT:just to let you know there is a grind thread in punk, im guessing a lot more people will know about these guys in there.

They're screamo in my book. I love As The Sun Sets probrally one of my favorite bands. Sucks that they broke up. Oh well at least we have Daughters now. :)

grindcore and screamo are very similar in some cases, and I heard about As The Sun Sets while looking for screamo bands, so I've always lumped them in with other screamo groups.

As The Sun Sets is a great band, favorite album is Each Individual Voice Is Dead In The Silence. 7744 wasn't as good.

I liked 7744, but nothing tops Each Individual Voice. Such a good record.

Bummer they had to turn into Daughters.

Daughters is awesome. Even though their songs are really short (I guess that's a trend in grindcore) they sound really good. So does The Locust. Despite the fact that they wear those retarded matching outfits.

As the Sun Sets still kills all of them though. Didn't know they broke up. How sad.

Thanks. Why don't you guys like this gorup? They sound pretty good to me. Not as varying as I'd hope, but still good. As The Sun Sets is much better though. I could've found the link myself, lol. i was under the assumption that Daughters was short for a longer name.

The whole guitars trying to sound like keyboards is starting to get on my nerves. I used to listen to stuff that sounds like Daughters waaaay too much.

I don't know why most people here dislike them, but I love Daughters. Check out the song "Hello A'sshole" and "Jones From Indiana"

Well, I don't like their other stuff nearly as much as EIV, but I don't fully agree with that. ATSS for the most part had this underlying sense of beauty... Daughters are just noise. The only cool thing they have going for them is the guitars, and I think that dude left anyway.

THIS JUST IN: i have now listened to ATSS and i think they are way more amazing than daughters, but i still think daughters are awesome. They are less of the whole ambient WEEEOOOOWWEEOOOWWEEOOO **** that daughters does.
